Architecture… Dis Connected

Eventually everything connects — people, ideas, objects… the quality of the connections is the key to quality per se.” — Charles Eames

Architecture is a profession built for social media, it’s about image, it’s about ideas, it lends itself to being chunked into easily digested posts. Architects, like many others, chase followers, retweets, likes, impressions, the more the better. All this with the notion that they’re connecting with people. What numbers don’t tell you is the quality of the connections or whether they are connecting with the right people.

It makes me curious…

How might architects make better and more meaningful connections?
